I am a Magento Certified Developer and Software Engineer at Inviqa in Glasgow. I specialise in ecommerce applications for some of the biggest brands in the UK.
Although I am primarily a PHP Software Engineer I am proficient in many aspects of the request life cycle. I have been known to work on several DevOps tasks using Vagrant, Chef, PuPHPet and BASH in several operating systems such as RHEL/CentOS and Ubuntu. I also created Magestead, a vagrant powered Magento development environment.
I have been known to spend way too much time learning JS frameworks such as Backbone, AngularJS and the recent Vue.js just for fun. I love spending time learning new technologies and frameworks, in fact, some might say I obsess over the latest new gadgets.
Although I am a dedicated Magento developer, I have been known to work on other CMS systems like Joomla, Wordpress and frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony and recently Slim PHP.
When I am not learning the latest technology, writing a blog post or spending time with my family I can usually be found photographing the landscapes on the west coast of Scotland.
